Inclusive Rock School
Our inclusive rock school is the perfect place for young people with a learning disability aged 15-19 to be able to learn new musical skills and to have fun. Any skill level is accepted but we are looking for young people who see music as their passion and may look at considering doing more of it after they have finished at school. There is the opportunity to do things such as singing in a group, learning a new instrument, developing musical skills and then having the opportunity to perform at one of our mega concerts!
Sessions run from 4pm - 5pm on a Monday and are free.
Tang Hall Chorus
Our chorus is a fantastic place for those who would love to sing alongside others in a supportive and inclusive environment. Our choir currently has around 8-10 people and is always on the look out for more people to join! Sessions are casually ran but they will help you develop your singing voice as you will be working alongside our vocal coach, Natasha Chambers. Our choir community is very warm and welcoming and is a great first step for those who enjoy singing and wish to take it that bit further.
Sessions run from 5:30 - 6:30pm on a Monday and are free.
Blues Club
Our Blues Club is for those who have an interest or a passion in blues music. In this club you will be playing blues music with like minded individuals. This can range from jamming blues progressions, learning covers and also writing music. Some musical experience is required as the group is for musicians of all levels who explore their passions for blues music throughout the decades.
Sessions run from 6pm - 7pm on a Monday and are free.
Community Art Club
Our community art club is for those who have any level of experience with art but wish to explore their art in a safe and supportive environment. In sessions we have two pastoral workers who are there to chat and offer support. Sessions are ran very casually and can be attended via a drop in basis.
Sessions run from 5pm - 6pm on a Thursday and are free.
Community Music
Our community music club is perfect for musicians of an intermediate skill level to get into playing in a group with others. Our community music sessions are band focused with the aim of developing musicianship, learning and writing songs and eventually performing! You will have the help of two of our tutors in developing all these skills whilst along the way developing relationships with like minded musicians. There is also a focus on well being in the session as we use our music making as a way to boost mood and confidence.
Sessions run from 4:30 - 6pm on a Tuesday and are free.
